Optimus Prosthetics is searching for a Certified Prosthetist or Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist with a minimum of five years of experience for our office in Columbus, Ohio. We are seeking a motivated individual with strong clinical skills to help continue our growth while providing superior patient-centered care. 

Primary job responsibilities include independently providing comprehensive prosthetic care while working with other members of the rehabilitation team and fostering relationships with our referral sources. The candidate must possess the following qualifications: exceptional self-management, planning, and organizational skills, analytical skills, clinical skills, computer skills, problem-solving skills, interpersonal/communication skills, detail-oriented, and cultural fit. Must be a team player and support the Company’s vision, mission and values. A Baccalaureate degree, ABC Certified Prosthetist and Masters Degree or has completed a prosthetic/orthotic Certificate Program is required. An ABC Certified Prosthetist/Orthotist is preferred with experience in the use of OPIE Patient Management Software. The candidate will also need to be licensed in the state of Ohio. Optimus Prosthetics is seeking a Front Office Specialist for our Cincinnati office.

Job Responsibilities
This role communicates with a variety of individuals in a manner that enhances the reputation of Optimus Prosthetics and strengthens its relationships, manages patient charts, and provides general administrative and operational support.

Key performance objectives:
1. Clearly and effectively communicate with patients, insurance companies, referral sources, and clinical staff in a professional and respectful manner to maintain our relationships and reputation and ensure we receive the information necessary to provide optimal patient care.
2. Accurately and efficiently maintain patient charts to support prompt device delivery while complying with Medicare standards.
3. Accurately verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility.
4. Manage internal reports ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is communicated internally to staff so that delivery stays on track.
5. Provide general administrative support to the practice enabling the staff to do their jobs effectively.
6. Check in shipments for components and supplies and maintain supply inventory.

The successful candidate must have exceptional self-management, planning and organizational skills, and the ability to interact with others in a positive manner. As the Front Office Specialist for Optimus Prosthetics, you must possess excellent communication skills both written and oral and the ability to multi-task. In addition, you must have previous experience in a similar role and strong MS Office skills.
