Limbitless Drive 2026: A Day of Golf and Community
On Saturday, September 19, Optimus Prosthetics hosted our 5th Annual Limbitless Drive: Amputee Golf Clinic & Tournament at Dayton Community Golf Course and it may have been our best year yet!
More than 40 participants took to the range and the course for a morning built around one simple idea: life after limb loss is meant to remain active and full of the things you love. Whether someone was swinging a club for the first time or sharpening a lifelong game, there was a place for them on the course.
A morning on the range, an afternoon on the course
The day opened with a hands-on clinic led by the Dayton Community Golf Course Instructor Team, welcoming every age and every skill level. From there, players teamed up for a friendly 9-hole scramble with the winning team (pictured below) taking top honors and plenty of laughs and standout shots along the way.
This year, we opened the doors wider
For the first time, Limbitless Drive welcomed amputees from across the community - not just Optimus patients. Anyone living with limb loss was invited to join, and that made the day bigger, warmer, and more representative of the community we're proud to serve across Dayton, Columbus, and Cincinnati.
It's a reflection of how we see our role: not just as a prosthetics provider, but as a partner in helping people with limb loss reclaim mobility and get back to living fully.
